Currently implemented:

  • ✅ Live API integration — GET /api/listings
  • ✅ Distance-sorted results + radius filter
  • ✅ Distance badges on cards and map pins
  • ✅ Pagination with page controls
  • ✅ Search origin crosshair on map

Still required for production:

  • 📦 Database — MySQL/PostgreSQL with a listings table seeded with real data
  • 🗺️ Real map — Google Maps or Mapbox tile layer (requires API key)
  • 📝 Submission flow — business owners submit listings via /list-your-business
  • 🔍 Admin review — moderation queue before listings go live
